Mr. John & Tri-Boro Trailer are excited to announce the promotion of Alex McCarthy to Controller, effective June 22, 2020. Alex will be responsible for managing the company’s finance and accounting departments, with a focus on analytics and data driven decision making.
Alex joined Mr. John in June 2001 as a seasonal employee and started full-time in January of 2009. He most recently served as Continuous Improvement Specialist since March 2018. Alex has a degree in Business Administration, a lean six-sigma Greenbelt certificate, and is an active member of Beta Gamma Sigma the International Business Honors Society.
Alex brings a plethora of experience to his new role. During his time with the company he has focused on operations, serving as the Division Manager of Tri-Boro Trailer from 2010 to 2018. Over that time with Tri-Boro Trailer he was able to help facilitate revenue growth of 143% while more than doubling the size of the Tri-Boro Trailer rental fleet.
